CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES COMBINED WITH ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES JULY 019 1997 A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:48 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gaytan presiding. FLAG SALUTE: Mayor Gaytan invited Fire Chief Hendrix to lead the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. INVOCATION: Chaplain Bob Johnson offered the invocation. ROLL CALL: Present were Councilmember Don Sanders, Councilmember John Hutton (present and on his way from the office), Councilmember Kelly Chastain, Councilmember Betty Cook, Councilmember Deirdre Bennett, Councilmember David Sandoval and Mayor Gaytan. Also present were Acting City Manager Harmon, City Attorney Biggs and Deputy City Clerk Delgado. CLOSED SESSION: City Attorney Biggs indicated that the Redevelopment Closed Session had previously been announced and would be joined with the City Council's Closed Session for the sake of expediency. City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, to confer with its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez Harmon, regarding negotiations with representatives of the Fire, Police Rank & File and Police Management Bargaining Units. City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to confer with its Real Property Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez Harmon, regarding negotiations relating to property located on Meridian and Pepper Avenues as more fully described in Resolution No. R-47-97 and relating to the real property located at 345 E. "M" Street. City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b) to confer with its Legal Counsel regarding the following matters of pending litigation: Qy of Colton v.
