CITY COUNCIL AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />January 12, 1999 <br />In accordance with duly and legally given, a Special Meeting of the City Council <br />and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 6:40 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 650 North La <br />Cadena Drive, Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett and Chairperson Sanders presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Sanders, DeLaRosa, Chastain, Cook, Grimsby, and <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett. Also present were City Manager Garcia and City <br />Clerk Barrera. Mayor Gaytan appeared at 7:00 p.m. <br />RDA ROLL CALL: <br />Members present were DeLaRosa, Chastain, Cook, Bennett, Grimsby, and <br />Chairperson Sanders. Also present were Executive Director Garcia, <br />Redevelopment Director Steel and Assistant Secretary Barrera. Member Gaytan <br />appeared at 7:00 p.m. <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />Goals and Objectives <br />Director Steel presented the following items from the Goals and Objectives <br />Workshop Handbook for January 12, 1999: <br />#21 — Electronic Readerboards/Billboard Plans <br />After discussion, Member Chastain, seconded by Member Cook made <br />motion, to approve conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no <br />opposition. Member Gaytan absent. <br />#22 — Citywide Economic Development Strategy <br />After discussion, Chairperson Sanders, seconded by Member Chastain <br />made motion, to approve conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no <br />opposition. Member Gaytan absent. <br />#23 — Colton Palms Project <br />1 <br />
