I ADJOURNED REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 8, 1999 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:45 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gaytan presiding. FLAG SALUTE Police Chief Crowe led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ROLL CALL: Councilmembers present were Grimsby, Bennett, Cook, Chastain, DeLaRosa, Sanders and Mayor Gaytan. Also present were City Manager Garcia, City Attorney Marco C. Martinez, and City Clerk Barrera. At the request of Mayor Gaytan, Motion/second by CM Chastain/Sanders to add a Closed Session Agenda and an item for discussion which relates to the revocation of the Dance Permit for the Rocks Club, as there was a need to take immediate action and was a late -breaking item, pursuant to Government Code §54954.2(b) (2), and the matter arose subsequent to the posting of the Agenda, pursuant to Government Code §54954.2(a), carried with no opposition to the motion. The Closed Session item would be discussed before taking up the business of Item 2 of the Agenda. PUBLIC COMMENT Attorney Roger Diamond, Legal Counsel for the Rocks Club, withdrew his time to speak after City Attorney Martinez explained that the agenda item he wished to address would be taken in the order of the agenda. ACTION ITEMS: City Manager reported that the final item to be presented as part of the review of the two year budget related to the Colton Utility Department as it related to the new positions for FY 1999-2000 and FY 2000-2001.
