COLTON CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />November 3, 2001 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 9:13 a.m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were De La Rosa, Chastain, Ramos, Zamora, and Mayor <br />Bennett. Also present were City Manager Parrish, Assistant City Manager Holliman, and <br />City Attorney Marco A. Martinez. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />AGENDA ITEMS: <br />Sussex Work Management Program Update/Training <br />Executive Assistant Vicki Porter presented an overview of the Sussex complaint <br />system. Discussion followed by Council with responses from staff. <br />Financial Reporting Tools <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish and Assistant City Manager Al Holliman provided a monthly <br />financial performance report draft. Discussion followed by Council with responses from <br />staff. <br />Proposed Workshop Early 2002 — "The Value of Service, The Ethic of Serving". <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish provided a brief overview of the proposed workshop for <br />early 2002. Topics covered will be, Ethics, Service and Diversity, and the targeted date <br />would be early spring. <br />CIP Neighborhood Grant Program <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish discussed the implementation and funding of the CIP <br />Neighborhood grant program. Discussion followed by Council with responses from <br />staff, also direction was given to staff to return with a program for approval at next <br />meeting. <br />"Unity Day" Celebration <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish showed a video presentation. Discussion followed by <br />Council with responses from staff regarding funding sources and potential dates. <br />1 <br />
