CITY OF COLTON <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR CITY COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/ <br />COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />AUGUST 6, 2002 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:04 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Chaplain Bob Johnson led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Members Present: <br />Deirdre H. Bennett, Mayor <br />Ramon M. Hernandez <br />Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />Helen A. Ramos <br />John D. Mitchell <br />Sarah J. Zamora <br />Kelly J. Chastain (Appeared at 6:07 p.m.) <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Staff Present: <br />Daryl Parrish City Manager <br />Dean Derleth, City Attorney <br />Carolina P. Barrera, City Clerk <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST <br />6,2002. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None Disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Recognition - Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Employees for Their Exemplary Actions <br />in Protecting the Wastewater Treatment Plant From the Adjacent <br />Property Fire on July 10, 2002. <br />Fire Chief Hendrix provided a synopsis of the fires that occurred on July 10, 2002 and <br />Eric Frasier recognized the staff that lent their assistance to extinguish the fire at the RIX <br />Plant where one (1) of the fires were located. <br />Mayor Bennett presented Certificate of Recognition to the following staff members: Eric <br />Flores, Mark Cassidy, Mike Perales, Adrial Guitron, Ray Rodriguez, Danny Villanueva, <br />Warren Woodstock, Eugene Gladaman, Billy Roth. <br />Presentation - Addy Gold Award, Award of Distinction by Geographics to the City of <br />Colton. <br />
