COLTON CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 22, 2003 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:04 p.m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were Mitchell, Zamora, Ramos, Chastain and Mayor Bennett. <br />Also present were City Manager Parrish, and Deputy City Clerk Flores. <br />Absent: <br />CM DeLaRosa and Hernandez. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF July 22, <br />2003. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed by members present. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />LLMD NO. 1 <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider the continued public hearing from July 15, 2003, <br />to accept the final engineer's report; adopt the resolution ordering the levy and collection of <br />assessments for the City of Colton 2003/2004 Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District No. <br />1. <br />Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "Open". <br />Deputy City Clerk Flores said the Affidavit of Publication and was on file in the City Clerk's <br />Office and stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />Mayor declared the Public Hearing Open. <br />Parks, Recreation and Human Services Kenny presented to Council staff's recommendation. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Chastain to terminate the Public Hearing. Motion carried with <br />CM De La Rosa and Hernandez absent. <br />2003 July 22 Adjourned Reg <br />
