R-10-26 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO.20358 TO CONSOLIDATE <br />11 PARCELS INTO 2 PARCELS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1400 <br />AND 1500 AGUA MANSA ROAD; (FILE INDEX NO: DAP-001-816) <br />WHEREAS, an application (File Index No. DAP 001-816) was filed with the City of <br />Colton by Pamela Steele of MIG Inc, (hereinafter "Applicant") for Tentative Parcel Map No. <br />20358 to consolidate 11 parcels into 2 parcels located at 1400 and 1500 Agua Mansa Road within <br />in the M-2 (Heavy Industrial) Zones the Agua Mansa Historic District; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 7, 2023, in the form of a letter, the applicant requested to continue <br />the Planning Commission meeting from March 14 2023 to March 28, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 14, 2023, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton conducted <br />the continued public hearing at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the <br />application were heard, the application was fully examined and continued the meeting to March 28, <br />2023 at the request of the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, the public hearing was continued to April 11, 2023 and subsequently to April <br />25, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 25, 2023 the Planning Commission of the City of Colton held the <br />continued public hearing at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the <br />application were heard and the application was fully examined; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 20, 2013 (Resolution No. R-60-13), the City of Colton, as the lead <br />agency under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"), certified a General Plan <br />Environmental Impact Report ("General Plan EIR") and approved the General Plan on August 20, <br />2013; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of its approval of the General Plan, City adopted Findings of Fact, <br />Statement of Overriding Considerations and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for <br />the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15183, projects which are consistent <br />with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan <br />policies for which an EIR was certified shall not require additional environmental review, except <br />as might be necessary to examine whether there are project -specific significant effects which are <br />peculiar to the project or its site; and <br />WHEREAS, Lineage Logistics is seeking City approval to allow for the construction of a <br />new warehouse/office building at 1400 Agua Mansa Road and developer IDI Logistics is seeking <br />City approval to allow for the construction and operation of a new warehouse/office buildings at <br />1500 Agua Mansa Road ("Project");and <br />
