13 nRESOLUTION NO. 4159 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />DESIGNATE SURVEY AREAS FOR STUDY AND DETERMINATION OF THE FEAS- <br />IBILITY OF A REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT OR PROJECTS. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Electrical Code <br />Ord. No. 1612 <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 1612 for First Reading, advising that <br />this ordinance is an update of the Uniform Wiring Code and will repeal Ordinance No. <br />1577, as recommended by the Director of Building and Safety John Twiss. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to waive full reading <br />and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 1612. Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1612 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING AND ESTABLISHING <br />First Reading RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, ADOPTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE 1981 EDI- <br />TION AND THE UNIFORM WIRING CODE 1975 EDITION, FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF REDUCING PERSONAL INJURY AND FIRE HAZARD FROM ELECTRICAL <br />CAUSES, PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1577. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, complained to the City Council with <br />regard to the fact that nothing has been done to improve the street surfaces of <br />6th Street and "F" and "G" Streets. <br />City Manager Trevino suggested that Mr. Smith come in to his office and discuss <br />this matter with him. <br />Councilwoman Garcia said she would like to thank her follow Council Members and <br />the City Manager for the cards, flowers and good wishes she received during her <br />recent illness. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 9:18 p. m., to discuss Personnel <br />matters, and reconvened at 9:52 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:54 p. m. <br />i <br />Ons <br />11 dtuv <br />JANE M.
