1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />D <br />V <br />2( <br />2: <br />2' <br />2; <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />281 <br />I <br />29 <br />30 <br />31� <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1146 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM <br />WIRING CODE 1961 AND ESTABLISHING RULES <br />AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL IN- <br />STALLATIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION ONE: This ordinance shall be known as the "Uniform Wiring <br />Ordinance. 11 <br />SECTION TWO: Those certain rules and regulations which provide for <br />electrical installation and which apply to all wiring and equipment installed, <br />used, maintained, rented, leased, offered for sale, or distributed for use, as <br />set forth in that certain code printed in booklet form and entitled "Uniform <br />Wiring Code; 1961 Edition", as prepared and promulgated by the Code Comb <br />rnittee of the Southern California Chapter of the International Association of <br />Electrical Inspectors three (3) copies of which code have heretofore been filed <br />with and are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Colton and <br />which copies are identified by certificate attached thereto, reading substantially <br />as follows: <br />I,, ELIZABETH DAVIS,, hereby certify that the three annexed <br />copies of the code entitled "Uniform Wiring Code, 1961 Edition".. <br />were filed in the office of the City Clerk of Colton on the 19th day <br />of November, 1962 and as true, correct and complete copies of <br />said code which is sought to be adopted by reference by ordinance <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton. <br />ELIZABETH DAVIS <br />City Clerk of the City of Colton <br />be and the same are hereby established as rules and regulations a code of said <br />city; and each and every part of said code, and each and every provision thereof <br />are hereby referred to and designated and adopted by reference as the "Uniform <br />Wiring Code 1961 Edition" and are made a part hereof as fully as though set <br />forth at length in this ordinance. <br />SECTWN THREE.: The following sections and provisions of the "Uniform <br />Wiring Code, 1961 Edition" are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />
