OF THE CITY OF COLTON PERTAINING <br />TO THE OPERATION OF THE MUNICIPAL. CEMETERY,,. <br />DEFINING TERMS, RENAMING OF FUND, AUTHORIZING <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF POLICIES; , RULES AND REGULA- <br />TIONS BY RESOLUTION, AND REPEALING CERTAIN <br />ORDINANCES. IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, <br />THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION ONE: DEFINITION OF WORDS <br />(a) LOTS. shall mean the numbered parcels in Hermosa Cemetery, <br />I� created pursuant to replat of said cemetery by Neste & Brudin, Civil Engineers; <br />(b) PLOT shall mean one or more burial spaces or graves; <br />(c) BURIAL SPACE AND GRAVE shall be synonymous and mean a <br />isingle plot of ground suitable and designated as and for the location of a burial <br />site of human remains; <br />(d) BABY GRAVE OR CREMATION shall mean a site, the length of <br />which does not exceed four feet; <br />(e) CHILD GRAVE shall mean a site, the length of which shall not be <br />less than four feet nor more than six feet; <br />(f) ADULT GRAVE shall mean. all other sites not defined. herein as <br />child: or baby or cremations; <br />(g) ENDOWMENT CARE FUND shall mean that certain fund created <br />for the care, maintenance and embellishment of Hermosa Cemetery, <br />SECTION TWO: The "PERPETUAL CARE FUND'S as created in <br />Ordinance No. 814 and defined and redefined in Ordinances No. 938 and 996 of <br />the City of Colton is hereby renamed "ENDOWMENT CARE FUND,;" Said fund <br />has been and shall continue to be created by the contribution thereto of a certain <br />portion or percentage of the sales price of each burial space or grave. <br />SECTION THREE: ADMINISTRATION OF ENDOWMENT CARE FUND: <br />The administration of said ENDOWMENT CARE FUND shall be under and pur- <br />suant <br />ur- <br />suant to the statutory authority established and promulgated in the Health and <br />`'nfety Code of the State of California, The City Treasurer of the City of Colton <br />- designated as the person charged with administering said fund purs <br />statutes and this ordinance, <br />
