ORDINANCE NO. 1344 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CIrfY OF C-OLTOND ESTABLISHING <br />A PLANNING COMMISSION. PRESCRIBING ITS AUTHORITY <br />AND DUTIES AS PROVIDED BY STATE LAW AND THIS <br />ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 699 AND 1041. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Establishing a Planning Commission. <br />8 <br />Pursuant to the provisions of the Government Code of <br />9' the State of California, Title 7 Planning, the City Council of <br />10 the City of Colton does hereby establish a Planning Commission to <br />11 ; be known as the "Planning Commission of the City of Colton". <br />12 <br />13 SECTION II: Appointment and <br />Membership. <br />14j The Planning Commission shall consist of seven (7) <br />15 1 members to be appointed by the Mayor of <br />the c1ty of Colton, with <br />l6 <br />the approval of the City Council. The City Council may remove <br />17 <br />1 any Commissioner at its pleasure. Each <br />term of membership shall <br />18 <br />i <br />; be for four (4) years. Said membership <br />shall expire on the basis <br />191 <br />20 of two (2) memberships a year for three <br />(3) years, and one <br />21 �I membership on the fourth (4) year.
