THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION ONE: This ordinance shall be known as the "Uniform <br />Wiring Ordinance." <br />SECTION TWO: Those certain rules and regulations which <br />provide for electrical installation and which apply to all wiring and <br />equipment installed, used, maintained, rented, leased, offered for sale, <br />or distributed for use, as set forth in that certain code printed in <br />booklet form and entitled "Uniform Wiring Code, 1968 Edition", as pre- <br />pared and promulgated by the Code Committee of the Southern California <br />Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors three <br />(3) copies of which code have heretofore been filed with and are now <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Colton and which <br />copies are identified by certificates attached thereto, reading sub- <br />stantially as follows: <br />I, ELIZABETH DAVIS, hereby certify that the three annexed <br />copies of the code entitled "Uniform Wiring Code, 1968 <br />Edition", were filed in the office of the City Clerk of <br />Colton on the 17th day of April , 1969 and <br />as true, correct and complete copies of said code which <br />is sought to be adopted by reference by ordinance of the <br />City Council of the City of Colton. <br />ELIZABETH DAVIS <br />City Clerk of the City <br />of Colton <br />be and the same are hereby established as rules and regulations a code <br />of said city; and each and every part of said code, and each and every <br />provision thereof are hereby referred to and designated and adopted <br />by reference as the "Uniform Wiring Code 1968 Edition" and are made <br />a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length in this ordinance, <br />except as hereinafter provided. <br />Section 20.10 That Section 20.10 shall be amended to read <br />
