JOHNSON <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: RESOLUTION REGULATING NEPOTISM <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 19, 1992, the City Council approved Resolutions No. R-56-92 and R-57-92 adopting MOUs covering <br />employees in the General Employees and Management/Confidential Employees' Bargaining Units. Each MOU <br />included a nepotism policy. The identical policy was incorporated in Resolution No. R-91-92 passed on August <br />41 1992, adopting the salary and benefit package for Executive Employees of the City of Colton. <br />It is desirable to have one uniform city-wide nepotism policy governing all city employees. The attached <br />resolution adopts the policy found in the three Resolutions referenced above with several additions noted in <br />bold type.
