Councilwoman Spragins moved that -second reading be approved and Ordinance No. 1471 adopted. Motion seconded by Councilman Rehrer. Rivera vs City of Colton. City Attorney Hutton recommended that the Claim of Ernest S. Rivera versus the City of Colton be rejected and referred to our insurance carrier. On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and unanimously passed, the Claim of Ernest S. Rivera vs. the City of Colton was rejected and referred to the City's insurance carrier. Claim: John Sachs vs. City of Colton. City Attorney Hutton stated the Claim of John Sachs versus the City of Colton has just been received and should be referred to our insurance carrier for investigation. On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and unanimously passed, the Claim of John Sachs vs. the City of Colton was referred to the City's insurance carrier for investigation. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 8:50 p.m., on the request of City Manager Huffaker. The City Council reconvened at 9:03 p.m., all members present. Mayor Huntoon stated that the City Council had adjourned for a brief Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the City Council at this time, on motion of Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales and unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 9:05 p.m. lk,l r d. Mayor COUNCIL MEETING December 3, 1974 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. Mayor Huntoon stated before commencing with the Council meeting, would each person present observe a few moments of silent meditation in memory of former Councilman and Mayor, Mr. Carl T. Rimbaugh, on his passing. Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was offered by the Reverend Virgil Rayborn of the Church of the Nazarene. ROT.T. r,.AT.T.
