ORDINANCE NO. 0-14-87 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING (First Reading) TITLE 18 OF THE COLTON MUNCIPAL CODE SECTION 18.12.160, USES PERMITTED IN EACH ZONE; AND SECTION 18.16.020, DWELLING SIZE. Personnel Res. No. R-109-87 Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Manager Benest reported this new position was approved in the 1987-88 City Budget for the Police Department. The major responsibilities of the Police Support Services Supervisor include the supervision and training of approximately 18 non -sworn communication and clerical record employees; assuring the accuracy and compliance of required statistical reports; and the coordination and implementation of computer systems and programs. Mr. Benest stated the position is an exempt classification and will be placed in the Management/Confidential Unit, with a salary range of 13.0 ($2308-$2804). Mr. Benest recommended adoption of the job description and salary resolution amending the Pay and Classifica- tion Plan for Police Support Services Supervisor. No one addressed the Council.
