Feria Del Terremoto City Manager Benest discussed the Spanish speaking workshop held on April 25, 1987, at the Luque Center, with regard to earthquake pre- paredness, or "Feria Del Terremoto". Mr. Benest stated Certificates of Appreciation will be presented to those employees that assisted in the workshop and coordinated the event. Mayor Gonzales presented Certificates to Bruce Hamp, Coordinator; Alice Ybarra; Rosemary Colunga; Pedro Hernandez; and Edward Cortez (not present). Creative Business Services, Inc. Res. No. R-49-87 City Manager Benest reported on a proposed agreement with Creative Business Services, Inc., a Rialto based public relations firm, to co- ordinate a one -day vendor information seminar to educate companies in - the specific processes required that are interested in doing business with the City, at a cost not to exceed $4,500. Mr. Benest advised the proposal includes preparation of press releases regarding the seminar, design of an invitation letter and development of a mailing list, de- velopment of the meeting agenda, and coordination of materials and hand- out information for the seminar. 2
