Read in <br />part by Mayor Gonzales. To be mailed to Riverside - <br />Corona Resource Conservation District. <br />Resolutions - NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE GOALS FOR YOUTH PROGRAM. Read <br />in full by Mayor Gonzales, and accepted by Mr. Gil <br />Lara from Los Padrinos. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />vor��nnoi <br />Res. No. R-55-87 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />.� Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Benest reported the public hearing this evening is to amend the <br />City's Pay and Classification Plan to include the position of Water <br />Quality Control Inspector, a position approved in the 1985-86 budget. <br />Mr. Benest advised the individual will perform on-site inspections of <br />backflow prevention devices, collect and record waste water samples <br />and inspect industrial waste water discharge facilities for conform- <br />ance with the City's Pre-treatment Ordinance. <br />Mr. Benest stated this classification will be placed in the City's <br />General Unit and, based on the educational and certificate require- <br />ments, Salary Range 22.0 is recommended. <br />Mr. Benest concluded Staff recommends approval of the Job Description <br />and Resolution No. R-55-87, amending the City's Pay and Classification <br />Plan for Water Quality Control Inspector. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public <br />Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Job Description and Resolution No. R-55-87 for Water Quality Control In- <br />spector.
