certificates and resolutions presented to Mayor Frank Gonzales, <br />Councilwoman Connie "Paddy" Cisneros and Councilman E. Jerry Rios <br />by Supervisor Jerry Eaves, by Betty L. Cook on behalf of <br />Congressman George Brown, by Marty Rodriquez on behalf of Senator <br />Ruben Ayala, by Ruby Gonzales on behalf of Assemblyman Joe Baca, by <br />Omnitrans General Manager Durand Rall, by Chamber of Commerce <br />President David Hernandez, by Councilmember Sandoval on behalf of <br />the City of Grand Terrace; and, by Councilmembers Cook and Bennett. <br />COMMENTS FROM OUTGOING CITY OFFICIALS <br />Mayor Gonzales, Councilwoman Cisneros and Councilman Rios, each, <br />listed some of their accomplishments and expressed words of <br />affection and appreciation to their spouses, families, friends and <br />City employees. <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />Mayor Gonzales called the newly -elected City Officials forward. <br />The Oath of Office was administered by City Clerk Ramos who also <br />issued the Certificates of Election. <br />COMMENTS FROM INCOMING CITY OFFICIALS <br />Councilman Sanders, Councilwoman Cook, Councilman Hutton and Mayor <br />Fulp, each, listed goals to be accomplished and expressed gratitude <br />to family, friends and campaign workers. <br />At 7:36 P. M., Mayor Fulp declared a recess and invited everyone to <br />attend a reception which was held in the City Hall lobby. At 7:57 <br />P. M., Meeting was reconvened with all Members present as <br />heretofore. <br />INVOCATION <br />Invocation was offered by Reverend Stephen Anderson with a musical <br />presentation by Miss Candace Bell. <br />PRESENTATION <br />Reverend and Mrs. Anderson presented a plague to Mayor Fulp. <br />Councilwoman Cook presented Mayor Fulp with a gavel. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Councilmember Beltran requested that Agenda Items Nos. 27, 36 and <br />35 be advanced on the agenda which was approved with consensus of <br />Council. <br />DEC 6 1994 <br />
