ORDINANCE NO. 0-03-94 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />(First Reading) CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION 1.12.030 OF <br />THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO PROSECUTE CERTAIN <br />MISDEMEANOR VIOLATIONS AS INFRACTIONS. <br />Business License <br />Mayor Gonzales announced that this was the time and place fixed for <br />Public Hearing for consideration to Amend Title 5 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code (Business License Ordinance-Clarification/Correction <br />of Amendment of 4/20/93; Modification of Renewal Periods and <br />Increase Penalties for Late Filing/No Filing.) <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections were received. <br />As requested by City Manager Young, Mayor Gonzales declared the <br />Public Hearing continued to the next City Council Meeting on March <br />15, 1994. <br />Councilmember Rios inquired about prorating of dog license fees and <br />City Manager Young responded that it is being worked on. <br />.--l. Sewer <br />Water Utilities Manager Lavin reported that the Environmental <br />Protection Agency and the State of California Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board required the City to update its Pretreatment <br />Ordinance on a yearly basis to include new laws and regulations. <br />To meet this mandate, Krieger and Stewart, City's consulting <br />engineer, and staff have updated the Pretreatment Ordinance which <br />the City Attorney has reviewed and approved. <br />Staff recommended passage of the First Reading of the Amendment to <br />Ordinance No. 0-1-93 Regulating the Use of Sewerage (pretreatment) <br />and Drainage Systems of the City of Colton. <br />Motion by Councilmember Bennett, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sandoval, to waive full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance <br />No. 0-04-94. Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-94 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />(First Reading) CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 13.08 OF THE <br />COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE, REGULATING THE <br />DISCHARGE OF WASTES INTO THE SEWERAGE <br />SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF COLTON AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE 0-01-93. <br />Future Meeting Dates <br />0 <br />MAR 0 1 1994 <br />
