Mayor Fulp asked about Westside Edco refunds. Director Vega stated payments <br />have posted to all accounts. Councilmember Sanders asked what was refunded. <br />Director Vega stated approximately $38 total refund. Mayor Fulp asked citizens <br />to be the eyes and ears of the community regarding temporary signs since this is <br />an election year. Mayor Fulp stated signs should not be placed on public <br />right-of-way. Mayor Fulp and Councilmember Hutton discussed yellow recycling <br />bins. Councilmember Hutton stated residents may call 370-6107 regarding yellow <br />recycling bins. Mayor Fulp stated L. J. Snow Ford Dealership will expand its <br />dealership back into town and this will hopefully increase sales tax revenues. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Board and Commission Appointments <br />Motion by Councilmember Bennett, seconded by Councilmember Beltran, to appoint <br />Ms. Ward to the Historic Preservation Commission. The motion was unanimously <br />approved. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Pool and Billiard Establishments <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE FOR AMENDMENT TO <br />CHAPTER 5.36 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE, PERTAINING TO POOL AND BILLIARD <br />ESTABLISHMENTS. <br />Mayor Fulp declared the Public Hearing opened. City Clerk Ramos stated there <br />were no written protests. Director Zamora gave a brief report and recommended <br />adoption of Resolution No. R-6-95 <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Hutton, to close the <br />Public Hearing. The motion was carried with a unanimous vote. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Sanders, to approve the <br />Ordinance. The motion was carried. Councilmember Beltran was absent from the <br />dais.
