Without objection, Mayor Fulp so ordered and <br />requested a follow-up memorandum. <br />CITY IREASURER'S REPORIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />ITEM 4 Continuing Report on CFD 90-1 Shortfall <br />Item No. 20 Agenda of January 16, 1996 <br />City Treasurer Mike Williams provided the monthly update on the CFD 90-1 <br />Shortfall and the reserve fund. City Treasurer Williams reported that Special <br />Counsel, who was handling the judicial foreclosure, had received a Summary <br />Judgment, meaning that the City will be selling that property for the delinquent <br />tax. Mayor Fulp deferred this item to the March agenda. City Attorney Biggs <br />stated that she had not been apprised of the legal proceedings and City Treasurer <br />Williams said he would contact legal counsel for a written report. <br />C11Y MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDAUQNS <br />ITEM 5 Assignment of the City of Colton's Risk Management Responsibilities to <br />the Personnel Department. <br />Item No. 21 Agenda of January 16, 1996 <br />Mayor Fulp provided results of his polling of surrounding cities concerning Risk <br />Management assignment. <br />Motion by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Council Member Bennett, to place Risk <br />Management under the Finance Director. After lengthy discussion, motion failed <br />with Councilmembers Bennett, Sanders and Mayor Fulp voting "Yes." <br />Motion by Council Member Beltran, second by Council Member Cook that Risk <br />Management be placed under the Personnel Department.
