Motion/second by Beltran/Fulp to ratify the employee appointments <br />(2) to the full-time positions of senior accountant. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />PERSONNEL DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Personnel Assistant Electric Utilities Director <br />Motion/second by Sanders/Cook to approve the revision of the job <br />description for the position of Assistant Electric Utilities <br />Director. Electric Utility Director Clarke informed that the <br />position was a budgeted position and assured there was opportunity <br />for in--house- promotion. <br />Motion carried with Fup, Bennett and Hansen voting "No." <br />Policy for Use of Airline Tickets and Travel Reimbursement Policy <br />CM Bennett' inquired about the existing_ travel policy. City Manager <br />Martinez and Director Vega responded regarding purchase of airlines <br />tickets allowed if work related travel. Further discussion re <br />corporate airline tickets available through League Of Cities. <br />Travel and Meeting policy to be provided by City Manager Martinez. <br />"Missi:ncOl Monument Cesar E Chavez <br />Discussion had regarding "missing" veterans plaque. Motion/second <br />by Fulp/Bennett to approve appropriation of $500 for monument and <br />Director Anstine to return with plaque design. Unanimous vote. <br />IVDA. JPA <br />Motion by Beltran/Cook regarding a proposed Amendment No. 2 to IVDA <br />JPA, admitting Highland. Upon advise of City Attorney Biggs, <br />motion and second are withdrawn and matter removed from Agenda. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL ITEMS (Continued) <br />Board/Commission <br />Motion/second by Hansen/Beltran for appointment of Mr. Thomas <br />Archuleta to the Planning Commission.
