Mr. Charles Jackson, Colton resident, urged that Council include the Utility Tax for <br />vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-71-96 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING <br />AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD <br />IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, <br />1996, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN <br />OFFICERS OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY <br />THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO <br />GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Unfunded Mandate Reserve and Secireaation of Wastewater Cagital lmr)rovement <br />Funds <br />Finance Director Vega asked for clarification on policy and the resolution. <br />Motion/second by CM Sanders/Hutton to table the Item 17 to July 16, 1996. CA <br />Biggs indicated that Item 25 should be included as well. The maker and second to the <br />motion accepted the modification. Motion carried with CM Bennett voting "No." <br />PERSONNEL DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Community Service Coordinator <br />Motion/second by Cook/Beltran to ratify the employee appointment to the full-time <br />position of Community Services Coordinator as recommended by the Neighborhood <br />Services Director carried upon unanimous vote. <br />Ms. Rosemary Colunga, Colton resident and former City employee, said she had been <br />forced to retire due to health reasons and she graciously thanked the City Council for <br />allowing her to serve the Citizens of the City. Mayor Fulp and CM Beltran <br />acknowledged her years of service and thanked her for her outstanding service. <br />Upon inquiry, Director Anstine said that Susan Rodriguez, a laid -off employee, was <br />appointed to this position. <br />Public Utilities Inspector <br />.1 <br />JUL 0 2 1996 <br />
