RESOLUTION NO. R-105-96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON SETTING BASIC COMPENSATION <br />RATES FOR PART-TIME CLASSIFICATIONS OF <br />EMPLOYMENT AND RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. R- <br />64-96 <br />CM Hutton returned to the dais at 8:51 p.m. <br />Appointment of Recreation Leader II. Recreation Leader III. Facility Monitor. and Community <br />Childcare Teacher <br />Personnel Director Harmon requested ratification of the employee appointment to the part-time <br />positions of Recreation Leader II (4), Recreation Leader III (3), Facility Monitor (2), and <br />Community Childcare Teacher (2) in the Neighborhood Services Department. <br />Motion by Mayor Fulp to continue this item until mid -year review. Motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br />Motion/second, CM Sanders/Hansen, to approve staff's recommendation. Unanimous vote. <br />Appointment of Intermediate Typist Clerk <br />Personnel Director Harmon requested ratification of the employee appointment to the full-time <br />position of Intermediate Typist Clerk in the Community Development Department. <br />Motion/second, by Mayor Fulp/CM Hutton to approve staff's recommendation. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />1996-97 Street Paving Program <br />Public Works Director Hutton presented for Council approval for selection of Matich <br />Corporation in the amount of $862,086.20 and to authorize the appropriation of funds for this <br />contract. <br />Motion/second, by CM Bennett/Sanders, to approve staff's recommendation. Unanimous vote. <br />After brief discussion by Council, Mayor Fulp directed that a report evaluating the areas located <br />at Barton Road and AT&SF and the South Mt. Vernon Bridge and the I-215, for possible <br />additions to Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. R-97-96, be continued to the second Council Meeting <br />of November as previously requested at the September 3, 1996 Council Meeting. <br />HO <br />SFP 1 7 14^. <br />
