In response to the remark about speed bumps at every stop, ouncilt-nember Bennett indicated
<br />the discussion. on .speed bumps, and other means, was intended to slow traffic down around
<br />children.
<br />Mr, Doug Blinkinsop, Colton resident, thanked CM Sanders, Bennett, Chastain and Cook and
<br />all citizens who supported a recent fund-raiser which earned money for the Firefighters' Sick
<br />and Injured Fund. Ile thanked Frank Bailey who organized the event, On behalf of the
<br />Firefighters, he urged support for the Colton Community assistance and Response
<br />Emergency Situations (C,A.R...E. . ) program, Further, he stated the Colton Firefighters and
<br />Paramedics.

<br />Firefighters Association, founded by Mr. Steve Anderson. He listed and described the
<br />organizations supported and endorsed by the Colton Fire Department.
