Hilda Garcia as Library Trustee and Rev, <br />Robert: K. Joluison as President of the Library hoard of Trustees, terms to expire June 30, 2000, <br />Motion/second by CM Cook -i& -,riders to approve the appointment of Hilda Garcia and Rev. Robert <br />Johnson to the Library Board carried upon unanimous vote. <br />In response to C.M Sanders inquiry re ardine the dissolution n of the Rent Review Commission, <br />City attorney Bigggs advised that it could not be done without repealing an ordinance. CM Bennett <br />info ned that not only was the commission established by an ordinance, it was also voted upon and <br />would have to go back for a vote of the people. <br />Travel .Poli <br />gy. Limits <br />To reduce the budget and monitor costs CM Bennett proposed a resolution for prior approval of <br />any travel, by any member of the City Council, which exceeds $1,000. <br />After discr_rssion for and against the proposals C Sandoval read sections pertaining to lirnitat oris, <br />action plan:; professional services and. cost.
