R- 18-97 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS <br />TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-98. <br />Councilmember Sanders requested the following be paid from the Contingency Fund from the <br />preceding year's allocation: <br />• Adopt -A -Bike Program/Continuation of at -risk youth services - $2,000 <br />• Active Self Help, Inc/professional and technical assistance to new business - $2,000 <br />• Colton Public Library/computer literacy instruction for Seniors - $8,000 <br />Councilmember Bennett asked the agencies requesting funds for next year to indicate the number of <br />Colton residents that are served through their programs. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Reche Coyon Flood and Drainage Improvement <br />Without objection from the Council, Mayor Gaytan pulled this item. <br />Reche Canyon Estates Water Pressu <br />Councilmember Bennett indicated that as result of the Water Pressure Study of the Reche Canyon <br />Water Zone 11, three alternatives were offered. She requested that staff include a letter with the utility <br />statement to be forwarded to each resident in the Reche Canyon Estates, asking them to vote and staff <br />7 <br />
