R- 15-97 A RESOLUTON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AFFIRMING SUPPORT OF THE SOUTHERN <br />CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS <br />(SCAG) GENERAL ASSEMBLY RELATING TO A STATE <br />LICENSING BUREAU FOR THOSE PERSONS <br />CONDUCTING DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES. <br />City Council -City Manager Leadership Team WorkshopsiLeague of California Cities - June 6-8,1997 <br />Councilmember Bennett presented this item and encouraged participation of the Council and staff to <br />attend this workshop as the content of the workshop fosters a team effort between Council and staff. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Infrastructure Projects/San Bernardino County Medical Center <br />Tim R. Wilson, Colton City Engineer's Office, presented an update on three separate projects which <br />are underway to construct offlite improvements for the County Medical Center. These projects are <br />being executed under a memorandum of understanding between the County of San Bernardino and <br />the City of Colton which are: (1) Pepper, San Bernardino and Meridian Improvements; (2) Pepper <br />and Valley Intersection relocation; and (3) Pepper/1-10 project which is being developed by the <br />County of San Bernardino in cooperation with Caltrans. <br />Dialogue with Council continued and Mr. Wilson took questions from the Councilmembers and <br />provided clarification. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL COMMENTSISTUDYZINFORMATION SESSION: <br />Without objection from the Council, Mayor Gaytan reported that the following items would be <br />continued and be made part of the regular agenda to allow staff sufficient time to respond: <br />District 1 <br />• West Valley Water Run -Off and Flooding Matters <br />• West Valley Park <br />District 5 <br />REACH Task Force Recommendations <br />8 <br />
