'— Interim City Attorney Carvalho stated that the remainder of the Closed Session items will be <br />discussed at the end of the Council meeting. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Presentation, Awards, Proclamations <br />0 Proclamation for Colton Ministerial Association was continued to a later date.. <br />0 Proclamation read declaring November 23-30, 1997, as National Bible Week. Rev. Bob <br />Johnson accepted the document. <br />0 Proclamation read declaring November 20, 1997, as National Educational Day. School <br />Board Member David Zamora accepted the document <br />0 Proclamation read honoring the Colton High School Yellowjacket Marching Band Band <br />Director Louis Gonzales accepted the document and he and the musicians were introduced to <br />the assembly. <br />0 Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Assistant Finance Director Bonnie Johnson. <br />0 Presentation by Pacific Bell Director of Public Affairs Joani Finwall. <br />0 The public was invited to `Discover the Magic of Christmas, " home decorating contest. <br />0 The public was invited to the clean-up of Cesar Chavez Park on December 6, 1997. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Personnel Item <br />Interim City Manager Wood requested approval of resolution determining the industrial disability <br />contingent upon receipt of the compromise and release documents. <br />After discussion and clarification, motion/second by CM Hutton/Mayor Gaytan to approve <br />Resolution No. R-112-97 with addition of the term "indefinitely" to Line 12 and addition of the <br />year (1997) to the month and date on line 12, carried with CM Sandoval absent. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 112-97 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, PURSUANT TO <br />GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 21025, MAKING <br />DETERMINATION OF DISABILITY STATUS FOR <br />LOCAL SAFETY EMPLOYEE (Cabral) <br />Speed Zone Survey <br />Councilmember/Public Works Director Hutton commented on the speed survey to support use of <br />radar. He introduced Traffic Engineer Consultant Craig S Neustaedter, who responded to <br />questions.
