Dev. - Approved request for recruitment and ratification of <br />employee appointment to the full-time position of Office Specialist 11 in the Community <br />Development Department. <br />(9) Notice of Completion - Authorized the final acceptance for Seventh and La Cadena <br />Signalization Project and authorized the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br />(10) Notice Of Completion - Authorized the final acceptance for the three CDBG Street <br />,Improvement Projects 104-20505, 21605 and 21805, southerly of interstate 10 and <br />easterly of Rancho Avenue and authorized the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br />Notice of - Authorized the acceptance of the Encanto Court Installation of <br />Water Line Project as 1 100% complete, and authorized the recordation of the Notice of <br />Completion. <br />(12) Permit - Granted approval for use of Fleming Park and the bandshell by the Chamber of <br />Commerce on December 12, 1998, for their Annual Christmas Parade. <br />(13) Grant - Approved and adopted a resolution Expending COPS Funding, RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-96-98. <br />(14) Contract - Did re -consider and repealed the award of a construction contract to Larry <br />Jacinto Construction Company and granted approval of a new construction contract [for <br />trench repair work on John Matich Drive] to Vance Corporation in the amount of <br />$97,870. <br />(15) MOU - PULLED FOR SEPARATE VOTE [See above]: Approval of Memoranda of <br />Understanding Between the City of Colton and Fire, Police Rank & File and Electric <br />Units, and Compensation for the Executive Unit, RESOLUTION NOS. R-97-98, R-98- <br />98, R-99-98, and R-100-98. <br />(16) Inland Empire Composting <br />Approved the amendment of the Non -Disposal Facility <br />Element (NDFE) for Inland Empire Composting/Envirotech West Incorporated. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney. Carvalho requested that the legal matter of Anderson v. City of Colton <br />SCV <br />14981, be added to the Agenda under Closed Session, as there was a status conference matter that <br />needed to be addressed and the matter was noticed by Plaintiffs Counsel after the Agenda was <br />posted.
