PUBLIC HEARING: <br />STREET VACATION <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider declaration of intention to vacate street right-of-way <br />of a portion of West Hanna Street, Westerly of Seventh Street between B. N. & S. F. Railroad <br />and the alley. <br />Mayor Gaytan declared the Public Hearing opened. <br />City Clerk Barrera reported that the Affidavit of Publication was on file in her office and reported <br />that there were no protests or objections received. <br />City Manager Garcia suggested that the matter be continued to January 4, 2000. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by Mayor Gaytan/Bennett to continue the public hearing to <br />January 4, 2000, carried with no objection thereto. <br />COMPETITION TRANSITION CHARGE (CTC) <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider a resolution amending the Electric Utility Customer <br />Service Policy in regard to the Competition Transition Charge (CTC). <br />Mayor Gaytan declared the Public Hearing opened. <br />City Clerk Barrera reported that the Affidavit of Publication was on file in her office and reported <br />that there were no protests or objections received. <br />Utility Director Clarke provided highlights of his agenda report dated December 9, 1999 and <br />presented Staff's recommendation for adoption of the proposed resolution. <br />MOTION/VOTE: There being no response to the call, motion/second by CM Sanders/Cook to <br />close the public hearing carried with no opposition to the motion. <br />Motion/second by Mayor Gaytan/CM Cook to approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R-111- <br />99, revising the Electric Utility Customer Service Policy in regard to the Competition Transition <br />Charge.
