PUBLIC HEARING: STREET VACATION This was the time and place fixed to consider declaration of intention to vacate street right-of-way of a portion of West Hanna Street, Westerly of Seventh Street between B. N. & S. F. Railroad and the alley. Mayor Gaytan declared the Public Hearing opened. City Clerk Barrera reported that the Affidavit of Publication was on file in her office and reported that there were no protests or objections received. City Manager Garcia suggested that the matter be continued to January 4, 2000. MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by Mayor Gaytan/Bennett to continue the public hearing to January 4, 2000, carried with no objection thereto. COMPETITION TRANSITION CHARGE (CTC) This was the time and place fixed to consider a resolution amending the Electric Utility Customer Service Policy in regard to the Competition Transition Charge (CTC). Mayor Gaytan declared the Public Hearing opened. City Clerk Barrera reported that the Affidavit of Publication was on file in her office and reported that there were no protests or objections received. Utility Director Clarke provided highlights of his agenda report dated December 9, 1999 and presented Staff's recommendation for adoption of the proposed resolution. MOTION/VOTE: There being no response to the call, motion/second by CM Sanders/Cook to close the public hearing carried with no opposition to the motion. Motion/second by Mayor Gaytan/CM Cook to approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R-111- 99, revising the Electric Utility Customer Service Policy in regard to the Competition Transition Charge. Motion carried upon unanimous vote. PUBLIC COMMENT No cards were submitted.
