#4 — Vision 2002 Continued — Twice Yearly Business Summit <br />City Manager Garcia presented a report and staff's recommendation. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Chastain, seconded by CM Sanders to <br />approve conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#5— Revisit Electric Utility Industry Deregulation <br />Tom Clarke, Utility Director, presented a report and staff's recommendation. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Sanders, seconded by CM Cook to approve <br />conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#6 — Rental Housing Inspection Program <br />David Zamora, Community Development Director, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Cook, seconded by CM Sanders to approve <br />conceptually staff's plan which included the development of a task force <br />that would include the following three Councilmembers — <br />Bennett/Grimsby/ DeLaRosa and in the development of the ordinance <br />exempting HOA'S. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#7 — Develop/Implementation Phase II Customer Service Plan <br />Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />8:42 P,M., Mayor Gaytan lett the dais. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Cook, seconded by CM Chastain to <br />approve conceptually staff's plan. Technology Task Force Action Plan <br />David Davis, Librarian, and Judy Glithero, Analyst, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />8:47 P.M.
