Grimsby nominated CM Sanders as primary representative with CM Bennett as the alternate for SBIAA and nominated CM Cook and CM Sanders as main representatives with CM Bennett as the alternate for IVDA. There was no opposition to said motion and it was so ordered. OMNITRANS MOTION/VOTE: CM Sanders nominated CM Cook as primary representative with Mayor Gaytan as the alternate. Mayor Gaytan declined the nomination and CM Chastain was nominated as alternate and with no opposition to said motion and it was so ordered. Redevelopment Agency Mayor Gaytan announced that the appointments of Chairperson Sanders and Vice -Chair Cook to the Redevelopment Agency were for a period of two years and they would so stand. RIX Joint Powers Authority Board Utility Director Clarke briefly described the RIX JPA and noted that its by-laws required the appointment of an elected official as the board member. MOTION/VOTE: CM Bennett nominated CM Grimsby as main representative with Rex Myers as Staff Liaison. On the appointment of CM Cook as an alternate, Director Clarke advised that it was not necessary to appoint an alternate as the primary member and staff member on the panel could conduct business and that the City does not have a vote on any of the actions. There was no opposition to said motion and it was so ordered. SANDBAG MOTION/VOTE: CM Sanders nominated CM Chastain as primary member and CM Bennett as alternate member. CM Bennett declined the nomination and CM Grimsby accepted the nominated as alternate member. With no opposition to said motion and it was so ordered. La Sierra Water Company MOTION/VOTE: CM Bennett nominated Mayor Gaytan as main representative with CM DeLaRosa as alternate. Mayor Gaytan declined the nomination. CM Grimsby was nominated as the main representative with CM DelaRosa as alternate. With no opposition to said motion, it was so ordered. SBVMWD MOTION/VOTE: CM Bennett nominated CM Cook as primary representative with CM DeLaRosa as alternate member. There was no opposition to said motion and it was so ordered.
