ORDINANCES: Second Reading - Change of Zone MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Cook/DeLaRosa to waive full reading and pass second reading of a proposed ordinance approving a change of zone from R-1 (single family residential) to R-1/PC (single family residential -planned community) for certain property located in the City of Colton, ORDINANCE NO. 0-16-99 carried with no objection to the motion. Second Reading - Redevelopment Plans for Mt. Vernon Corridor and West Valley Projects Motion/Vote: Motion/second by CM Sanders/Cook to waive full reading and pass second reading of proposed ordinances amending certain time limitations with respect to the redevelopment plans for the Mt. He spoke about truck traffic and control on Meridian Avenue. He noted a recent ruling by the Fish and Wildlife Department, citing Section 9 of the Federal Endangered Species Act, prohibiting the installation of a fence on a road right-of-way, around a site located on the Northeast corner of Visconti Drive and Meridian Avenue.
