Item <br />4, CM Zamora requested that the Minutes of October 28, 2002 reflect that the Adjourned <br />Meeting was moved from La Villa Restaurant and continued in the Council Chambers. Item 6 <br />CM Chastain requested an amendment to include Lincoln School Pocket Park. <br />Motion/second by CM DeLaRosa/CM Ramos to approve Consent Calendar Item No.(s) 4 <br />through 22, minus Item No. 7 and 20 to be pulled for a separate vote, amending Item No. 6 to <br />include a Lincoln School Pocket Park. Unanimous vote. <br />(7) Contract/NM Colton Genco LLC - Approved of Purchase Power Contract for Five Years <br />with NM Colton Genco LLC for 1.2 MW Landfill Gas Electric Generating Project Located <br />in Colton. <br />Motion/second by CM DeLaRosa/CM Ramos to change the Evergreen Contract. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />City Attorney Martinez clarified that the contract currently has the Evergreen Clause that <br />automatically extends, unless the City provides notice in writing six (6) months prior to the <br />expiration that the City elects not to extend the contract. The amendment will be that to reverse <br />the verbage to read, "the contract will automatically terminate, unless notice is provided six (6) <br />months ahead of time that we wish to renew the term." <br />(20) Bids/Davis Park Restrooms — Authorize the Request to Solicit Public Bids for the <br />Elizabeth Davis Park Restroom and Improvements Project. <br />Discussion by members followed regarding the holding off until completion of Park Master Plan <br />and construction interference with Girl's softball season. Director Kenny stated that City <br />Engineer Amer Jahker thinks the drainage can be done by the start of the softball season on <br />April 1, 2003 and that the Architect feels that the proposed placement is the best utilization of <br />the restrooms. <br />Motion/second by CM Chastain/CM Hernandez to approve the request to solicit Public Bids for <br />the Elizabeth Davis Park Restroom and Improvements Project.
