Installation, repair or replacement of <br />controls to each heating appliance or heating, ventilation, air conditioning, <br />or refrigeration system installed by a recognized incorporated public utility <br />for use of such corporation in the distribution, generation, transmission, <br />metering of gas or for temporary testing equipment." <br />(C) "Uniform Plumbing Code," 1982 Edition. <br />(1) The 1982 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be <br />amended as follows: <br />(a) "Part One - Administration" is deleted. <br />(b) Section 315(f) is amended to read: "(f). In the <br />areas subject to freezing conditions, no water, soil or waste pipe shall be <br />installed or permitted outside of a building, in an exterior wall, attic, <br />or underfloor area, unless adequate provisions are made to protect such <br />pipe from freezing." <br />(c) Changes in Appendix. Appendix G, Section G-1 is <br />amended to read: "G-1, When it is not possible or practical to dispose <br />of waste water, i.e., periodic emptying, as hereinafter set forth by methods <br />specified in this section, the contents of such pool shall be tank -trucked <br />to a disposal site approved by the Health Officer of his authorized <br />representative. The discharging of swimming pool waste water onto a public <br />street or right-of-way shall be prohibited." <br />SECTION THREE: Permits withheld or suspended. No building permit <br />or occupancy permit shall be issued when the City Council or a properly <br />delegated authority gives notice to the Building Official to withhold or <br />suspend the same, where it is deemed to be in the public interest for <br />
