No lighting shall be a detri- <br />ment to surrounding property or prevent the peaceful enjoy- <br />ment of residential uses, nor shall light be displayed in <br />such a manner that potential confusion with traffic lights <br />may exist. No sign shall be lighted by the use of exposed <br />neon tubing or similar type lighting. <br />vi. Roof Signs. No roof signs of any <br />kind shall be permitted. <br />vii. Moving Signs. No sign shall rotate <br />or otherwise move or contain moving parts. <br />viii. Real Estate Signs. Real estate <br />signs announcing a building for sale, lease or rent shall be <br />allowed without permit provided that the total surface area <br />does not exceed six square feet. <br />b. For nonresidential uses: <br />i.. Sign Area. General standard: All <br />sites shall be limited to a maximum of one sign type, i.e., a <br />site may have a maximum combination of one wall sign, one <br />pole sign and one monument sign. <br />ii. Pole Sign One identification pole <br />sign per site will be allowed. Pole signs shall be limited to <br />a maximum height of twenty feet above natural grade, and a <br />maximum area of fifty square feet per face, double faced. <br />iii. Wall Sign. In no event shall an <br />identification sign placed on a wall comprise more than fifteen <br />percent of the area of the wall upon which the sign is located <br />and shall not exceed the height of the wall. <br />iv. Monument Sign. An identification <br />ground sign shall not exceed four feet above grade in vertical <br />height. Also, ground signs shall not exceed seventy-five <br />square feet in total area. <br />V. Multitenant Directory Sign. One <br />directory sign listing only the name of the firms or businesses <br />on a site shall be allowed. Said sign shall be limited to <br />a maximum height of twenty feet. Panels identifying each <br />individual occupant shall be no longer than one foot in <br />width and five feet in length. <br />vi. Special Purpose Sign. Signs used to <br />give directions to traffic or pedestrians or to give <br />instructions as to special conditions shall not exceed <br />a total of six square feet (single face) in area per sign <br />and shall be permitted in addition to the other signs listed <br />in this section. <br />vii. Construction Sign. One construction <br />sign denoting the architects, engineers, contractor and <br />other related subjects shall be permitted upon the commence- <br />ment of construction. Said sign shall conform with the <br />requirements of subdivision iv above, and will be permitted <br />until such time as a final inspection of the building(s) <br />designates said structures fit for occupancy, or the tenant <br />
