Effective July 1, 1996, the provisions <br />of Sections 6.16.070 through 6.16.170 establish minimum standards for <br />receptacles to be used in the city and placement of refuse within such receptacles. <br />Additional or different requirements and standards may be established by the <br />director of public works subject to the approval of the city council for receptacles <br />and receptacle use for refuse, recyclables and green waste collected within the <br />city by any authorized refuse collection provider pursuant to a permit, franchise <br />agreement or contract with the city." <br />SECTION 4: Section 6.16.180 of Chapter 6.16 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"Tree trimmings --Procedure for collection.
