1 manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more, including <br />2 buses and recreational vehicles used for commercial purposes as defined in Section <br />3 260 of the California Vehicle Code, in any nonresidential zone for longer than four (4) <br />4 hours is prohibited. For purposes of this subsection, each consecutive four-hour <br />5 period shall be considered a separate violation. <br />6 (c) This section shall not apply to: <br />7 1. The parking of recreational vehicles, including travel trailers and <br />8 motorhomes. <br />9 2. Any vehicle making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares or <br />10 merchandise from or to any building or structure located on a restricted <br />11 street, or for the purpose of delivering materials to be used in the actual bona <br />12 fide repair, alteration, remodeling or construction of any building or structure <br />13 <br />14 upon restricted streets for which a building permit has been previously <br />15 obtained. <br />16 3. Any vehicle owned by a public utility while necessarily in use in the <br />17 construction, installation or repair of any public utility. <br />18 4. Any vehicle owned by the City, County or State or a licensed <br />19 contractor on their behalf, engaged in the installation, maintenance or repair <br />20 of any public property, utility or highway. <br />21 5.
