Provided, however, if the employee's regularly scheduled <br />hours are reduced, such Y -rated salary shall be reduced proportionately. <br />4. TERM <br />This Memorandum of Understanding shall remain in full force and effect from <br />its date of ratification up to and including December 31, 1986. <br />5. GENERAL PROVISION <br />Each party pledges to recommend ratification to its principal (City Council/ <br />rank and file electrical unit employees). The Association shall conduct <br />a ratification vote prior to March 4, 1986.
