N <br />C. <br />Overtime <br />All employees required to perform in excess of the standard work <br />period of 204 hours in a 27 day cycle shall receive compensation <br />at the rate of time and one-half his/her regular rate of pay. <br />The regular rate of pay shall include the following components <br />in addition to base salary: <br />Education Incentive <br />In determining an employee's eligibility for FLSA overtime compen- <br />sation in a work period, paid leaves of absence and unpaid leaves <br />of absences shall be excluded from the total hours worked. Paid <br />leave of absences include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />1) Vacation <br />2) Holiday Leave <br />3) Sick Leave <br />4) Administrative Leave <br />5) Compensatory Leave <br />6) Workers' Compensation Leave <br />7) 4850 Time <br />8) Jury Duty <br />9) Bereavement Leave <br />10) Military Leave <br />For overtime not otherwise paid at time and one-half the regular <br />rate, an employee shall be paid straight time his/her regular <br />salary rate. <br />Nonshift personnel (40 hour employees) shall be paid overtime for <br />all hours worked in excess of 40 during a seven day work period <br />at a rate of time and one-half the employee's regular rate of pay. <br />Notwithstanding the above, all hours worked on an emergency call - <br />out basis shall be paid at time and one-half the forty (40) hour <br />rate. An employee shall be credited with a minimum of one hour. <br />Travel time shall not be considered hours worked and shall not be <br />compensatd in any manner whatsoever. <br />There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Hours worked by an <br />employee in any workday, workweek, or workperiod on which premium <br />rates have been allowed shall not be used again in any other over- <br />time calculation other than computing total actual hours worked. <br />Early Relief <br />The practice of early shift relief shall be voluntary on behalf of <br />each employee involved in the relief. The employee providing the <br />early relief shall not have his/her compensable hours increased as <br />a result of the early relief; nor shall the employee relieved early <br />have his/her compensable hours decreased as a result of the early <br />relief. "Paybacks" of early relief hours are the sole obligation <br />of the two employees involved in the early relief. Any dispute is <br />3 <br />
