Overtime All employees required to perform in excess of the standard work period of 204 hours in a 27 day cycle shall receive compensation at the rate of time and one-half his/her regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay shall include the following components in addition to base salary: Education Incentive In determining an employee's eligibility for FLSA overtime compen- sation in a work period, paid leaves of absence and unpaid leaves of absences shall be excluded from the total hours worked. Paid leave of absences include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) Vacation 2) Holiday Leave 3) Sick Leave 4) Administrative Leave 5) Compensatory Leave 6) Workers' Compensation Leave 7) 4850 Time 8) Jury Duty 9) Bereavement Leave 10) Military Leave For overtime not otherwise paid at time and one-half the regular rate, an employee shall be paid straight time his/her regular salary rate. Nonshift personnel (40 hour employees) shall be paid overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 during a seven day work period at a rate of time and one-half the employee's regular rate of pay. Notwithstanding the above, all hours worked on an emergency call - out basis shall be paid at time and one-half the forty (40) hour rate. An employee shall be credited with a minimum of one hour. Travel time shall not be considered hours worked and shall not be compensatd in any manner whatsoever. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Hours worked by an employee in any workday, workweek, or workperiod on which premium rates have been allowed shall not be used again in any other over- time calculation other than computing total actual hours worked. Early Relief The practice of early shift relief shall be voluntary on behalf of each employee involved in the relief. The employee providing the early relief shall not have his/her compensable hours increased as a result of the early relief; nor shall the employee relieved early have his/her compensable hours decreased as a result of the early relief. "Paybacks" of early relief hours are the sole obligation of the two employees involved in the early relief. Any dispute is 3
