Cost will be determined <br />by invoices, sales receipts, or other proof of purchase for the <br />installation of measures provided by the commercial customer <br />applicant. <br />2. Air -Conditioning: <br />a. For new central electric air -conditioners and new heat pumps <br />with a capacity of no more than 65,000 btu's/hr, rebate amount <br />will be the amount as shown in Policy Number 24. <br />b. For new central electric air -conditioners and new heat pumps <br />with a capacity greater than 65,000 btu's/hour and less than <br />135,000 btu's per hour, the rebate amount will be $200 per kw <br />reduced as compared to the California Energy Commission (CEC) <br />minimum energy efficiency requirements in effect at the time <br />of the submittal of the rebate application. <br />C. SEER ratings of new central electric air -conditioners and new <br />heat pumps will be based on the latest edition of the <br />applicable ARI Directory as defined in Policy Number 24. <br />d. EER ratings of new central electric air -conditioners and new <br />heat pumps with a capacity of more than 65,000 btu's per hour <br />will be based on latest applicable ARI Directory. <br />e. Units not listed in the latest applicable ARI Directory will <br />not qualify unless written certification is received from the <br />manufacturer that units are scheduled for publication in the <br />next ARI Directory. <br />ISSUED BY <br />Gale A.
