The Department Director or his designee shall <br />determine to which employee he wishes to offer this assignment. <br />Acting pay shall equal 511 of the employee's base salary only, <br />no change in fringe benefits. <br />The City agrees that represented employees working out of <br />class shall be properly trained prior to out -of -class assignment. <br />Section 5: <br />Longevity Pa <br />Effective January 1, 1992, and thereafter, employees who have <br />been at Step E of their current salary range for at least one year, <br />and who have received an overall rating of satisfactory or better <br />on their performance evaluations over the past year, shall receive <br />a one-time longevity adjustment equal to 2% of base salary. <br />Employees who are disciplined for one incident during the <br />rating period shall not receive an overall rating below the level <br />of "Satisfactory" solely based on that incident. <br />Section 6: Social Security <br />In the event the City and its employees are required to <br />participate in the Federal Social Security program, the <br />contribution designated by law to be the responsibility of the <br />employee shall be paid in full by the employee and the City shall <br />not be obligated to pay or "pick up" any portion thereof. <br />Nothing herein shall prevent the Union from requesting the <br />City to meet and confer on the possible "pick-up" of the employees, <br />contribution. Upon such request by the Union, the City agrees to <br />meet and confer with the Union. <br />Section 7: <br />Medicare <br />Employees hired by the City on or <br />be required to pay the designated <br />participate in the Medicare Program and <br />obligation to pay or "pick up" any such <br />ARTICLE III: FRINGE BENEFITS <br />Section 1: Health Insurance <br />after April 1, 1986, shall <br />employee contribution to <br />the City shall be under no <br />contributions. <br />The City shall contribute an amount equal to the cost of <br />"Family" coverage under the Health Net Medical Insurance Program, <br />Group Number 50766A, per month per employee for City provided <br />health insurance coverage.
