Section 1A. The Deputy City Clerk and the Human Resource Soecialist(s): Were <br />former members of the Teamsters General Employees Association and received a 2% raise on <br />2 <br />September 9, 2021 with the new 2021-2025 Teamsters General Employees Association MOU. <br />3 Therefore these classifications are not eligible for the 2% salary increase "effective first pay <br />period after council adoption" of this confidential compensation and benefit resolution. They <br />4 will be eligible for all other wage increases set forth above. <br />5 Section 113. Hazard Premium Pay: The City will issue two (2) separate hazard <br />6 payments of up to $4,500 to each employee who was actively employed by the City between <br />July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, and who remain in active employment as of the scheduled <br />7 payment dates. <br />10 <br />II <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />Employees who have been actively employed by the City for less than one year, as of June 30, <br />2021, will receive a pro -rated first payment based on the number of months they have been <br />employed since July 1, 2020 multiplied by $375.00. An employee who was hired after the 15th <br />of a month will not receive credit for working that month for purposes of calculating the pro- <br />rated lump sum payment. For example, an employee hired on January 20, 2021 will receive a <br />payment of $1,875.00 (5 months times 375.00). An employee was hired on January 15, 2021 <br />will receive a payment of $2,250.00 (6 months times $375.00 . Employees who were on an <br />unpaid leave of absence will also have their lump sum payment pro -rated based on the period <br />of unpaid leave of absence. <br />The City shall issue the first payment the fourth pay period following adoption of this <br />Resolution.. The City shall issue the second payment on the paychecks that cover the first pay <br />period in July 2022. The lump sum payments under this provision are not reportable <br />compensation to CALPERS. <br />Upon adoption of this Resolution, employees occupying classifications that were transferred <br />18 into the Confidential Unit from other employee Association that were issued an initial or first <br />hazard premium payment as a member of the former employee Association, shall receive a <br />19 hazard premium payment in the amount of the difference of what was already obtained while <br />20 in the previous Association and the amount noted above. Those classification are eligible for <br />the second full ARPA payment in July 2022. <br />21 <br />Section 2. Administrative Analysts & Executive Assistants. The Administrative <br />22 Analysts and Executive Assistants in the Confidential Group will be benchmarked to the <br />23 Administrative Analysts and Executive Assistants, respectively, in the Mid Management Unit. <br />When the Administrative Analysts and Executive Assistants in the Mid Management Unit <br />24 receive salary increases, the same increases shall be applied to the Administrative Analysts and <br />Executive Assistants in the Confidential Group. <br />25 <br />26 Section 3. Acting Pay. Any Confidential Group employee assigned to work in a <br />higher classification for a period of thirty-nine (39) consecutive work hours or more, shall <br />27 receive compensation from the first hour until the assignment is completed.
