section, however, shall operate to prevent the City from meeting and conferring in good <br />faith with other bargaining units. <br />VIII. RECLASSIFICATION LANGUAGE: The City agrees to "meet and consult" with the <br />Union on any proposed reclassification in the Union prior to submission to the City <br />Manager. <br />IX. CLASS '"A" DRIVERS LICENSE: The City agrees to pay for the cost of a Class "A" <br />California Drivers License for all permanent employees who are required to have one. <br />X. RETIREMENT BENEFITS: The City agrees to "meet and confer" with the Union, at the <br />same approximate time it meets with other employee Unions or Associations, if the City <br />or another "miscellaneous" Union or Association proposes adding PERS retirement <br />benefits. <br />XI. OVERTIME LANGUAGE: The City agrees to providing a minimum of 2 hours work <br />time for each employee if they physically report for scheduled overtime and that overtime <br />is thereafter canceled for any reason. <br />XII. CLASSIFICATION STUDY: The City agrees to do a classification study of the <br />Maintenance Electrician position. Upon completion of the study, any wage increases will <br />bePaid retroactively to 9/2/00. <br />XIII. 2 HOUR "CREDIT": Instead of sick leave not being counted as hours worked for the <br />purposes of overtime calculation, the Union agrees to eliminating the automatic "2 Hour <br />credit" from call back pay. The value of the "credit" will be added as a base wage <br />increase for each affected classification.
