1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />ll <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />Cash Contribution may be used and applied by EVLC under the <br />Participation Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties to the Participation Agreement <br />deem it desirable to agree upon the aggregate amount of the <br />Agency Cash Contribution and authorize the release thereof <br />to EVLC in a different manner than set forth in the <br />Participation Agreement and provide for the use of the <br />Agency Cash Contribution for the expanded purposes and <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, Agency staff prepared an agreement entitled <br />"Amendment No. 1 to the Participation Agreement by and among <br />the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, the City of <br />Colton and East Valley Land Company" to amend the <br />Participation Agreement as desired by the parties (the <br />"Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the City Council to <br />consider the Agreement, at this time; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DETERMINED BY THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. On July 17, 2001, the City Council <br />considered the Agreement at an open meeting of the City <br />Council. The minutes of the City Clerk for the July 17, <br />2001, meeting of the City Council include a record of all <br />documents and testimony submitted to the City Council <br />-2- <br />
