separate automobile allowance from salary. This provision does not apply to the <br />Executive (Elected Officials) positions unless amended by the City Council via separate <br />resolution(s). <br />SECTION 8: FISCAL YEAR: Add Section 8 to the document to indicate the <br />change in accruals, leaves (i.e. floating holiday, bereavement leave, etc.) tuition, and <br />optical reimbursement and the like, from calendar year to fiscal year with no adverse <br />impact to employees. <br />ARTICLE III <br />SECTION 1: HEALTH INSURANCE: The City agrees to initiate PERS Health <br />Coverage at the earliest possible implementation date, estimated by December 1, 2001. <br />A monthly stipend in the amount of $700 will be established in lieu of the current health <br />insurance subsidy. Modifications to method of insurance delivery will be made <br />contingent upon PERS requirements for employer contribution amount for employees <br />and retirees as appropriate. <br />SECTION 3: OPTICAL PLAN: The amount of optical reimbursement will be <br />calculated at the bi-annual rate of $280 for employees and $180 for eligible dependents. <br />In the event an employee or dependent elects laser eye surgery in lieu of using the optical <br />reimbursement for exams, eye glasses or contact lenses, the employee may either bank <br />unused optical reimbursement funds in anticipation of future surgery, to be paid out upon <br />receipt of invoice for completed surgery; or may elect maximum reimbursement on a bi- <br />annual basis until the total amount of the laser surgery is reimbursed over several bi- <br />annual reimbursement window periods. (Replace existing language) <br />ARTICLE IV <br />SECTION 3: HOLIDAYS: The City agrees to increase the amount of <br />Floating Holiday hours from 12 to 20 hours. <br />
