Resolution, in accordance with the provisions of California Government Code section <br /> 2 <br /> 3 34090; and <br /> 4 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Attorney and City Council hereby acknowledge that the <br /> 5 <br /> 6 City Attorney's signature on this Resolution constitutes written consent under <br /> 7 <br /> California Government Code section 34090 for the destruction of obsolete and <br /> 8 <br /> 9 unnecessary records and documents in accordance with the City-wide Records <br /> 10 <br /> Retention Schedule. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, determined, and ordered by the City <br /> 13 <br /> Council of the City of Colton, as follows: <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The City Council hereby finds and <br /> 16 <br /> determines that the recitals of this Resolution are true and correct and are hereby <br /> 17 <br /> 18 incorporated in this Resolution. <br /> 19 <br /> Section 2.Approval of the Revised Records Retention Schedule. The City <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Council hereby approves and adopts the revised Records Retention schedule, <br /> 22 <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 All records of the City shall be maintained in accordance with the revised Records <br /> 25 <br /> Retention Schedule. The City Council's approval of the revised Records Retention <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Schedule and adoption of this Resolution shall constitute approval, as required by <br /> 28 <br /> statute, of the destruction of any and all obsolete City records that have been <br />
