CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The City of Colton will be receiving an estimated $215,752 from Proposition 42 funds that <br />should be used for the following types of improvements: street and highway pavement <br />maintenance, rehabilitation, reconstruction and storm damage repair. The suggested <br />improvements along La Cadena and the intersection of Pepper and Valley are eligible <br />projects. <br />Staff requests that $50,000 of the Proposition 42 funds for fiscal year 2005/2006 be <br />budgeted for the La Cadena Improvements Project in account 450-0632-6910-3890 and <br />$94,904 be budgeted for the Pepper and Valley Improvements Project in account <br />450-0633-6910-3890. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the attached resolution to: <br />• Add the La Cadena Improvements Project to the fiscal year 2005/2006 Capital <br />Improvement Program. <br />• Add the Pepper and Valley Improvements Project to the fiscal year 2005/2006 <br />Capial Improvement Program. <br />• Increase the fiscal year 2005/2006 Capital Improvement Program budget by <br />$144,904. <br />Attachments: <br />Resolution <br />Report prepared by Maritza Tapia - Public Works Department <br />IREVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney: <br />City <br />Finance Director: <br />OTHER: <br />
