0 <br />0 <br />N <br />"ww g <br />cn <br />wzo <br />- Ye Ox <br />U_ 06 0 <br /><w��w <br />Jmwao <br />>_ <br />m> > <br />L <br />Of <br />co <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />I:3 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON TO AMEND TITLE 18 OF THE COLTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO CLARIFY AND UPDATE <br />EXISTING CODE SECTIONS RELATING TO: FRONT <br />SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR PARKING FACILITIES; <br />PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR WAREHOUSE, <br />STORAGE AND MINIWAREHOUSE BUILDINGS; SIDE <br />AND REAR SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR <br />PROPERTIES LOCATED IN COMMERCIAL AND <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONES; THE PROCEDURE FOR <br />APPROVAL OF TELECOMMUNICATION AND ANTENNA <br />TOWERS; AND EXPIRATION, REVOCATION AND <br />APPEALS OF LAND USE APPLICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, on June 26, 2007 the Planning Commission of the City of Colton <br />("Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing and recommended the City <br />Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") amend Chapters 18.12, 18.14, 18.18, 18.24, 18.26, <br />18.28, 18.39, and 18.58 of Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code to clarify and update existing <br />code sections ("Zone Text Amendment"); <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission based its recommendation to adopt the <br />Zone Text Amendment on the findings set forth below and a finding that adoption of the Zone <br />Text Amendment is exempt from compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 21, 2007, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br />hearing at which all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Zone Text Amendment <br />were heard and the Zone Text Amendment was comprehensively reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to clarify and update existing code sections <br />from time -to -time to make them easier to understand and consistent with State law, and the City <br />of Colton General Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council hereby adopts the recitals and findings set forth <br />above and in the agenda report prepared in connection with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2. Section 18.18.120 of Chapter 18.18 of Title 18 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"18.18.120 Parking requirements. <br />A. Specific Requirements. <br />1. For office uses and convenience sales and services, one <br />space shall be provided for every two hundred fifty square <br />feet of gross floor area. <br />2.
